VIOLENCE,

The main culprits for this deplorable and disgraceful scheme of events in Kerala today are not because of our teenagers, but mainly because of movies which glorify intolerable violence, the ever-growing unregulated social media which is let loose by our statutory bodies as part of some hidden agenda, & of course, the absence of role models who are expected to uphold values, the beacons of civic sense.

The so-called educated and the all-knowing elite cannot in anyway escape from their responsibilities in escalating these atrocious crimes in Kerala, the land of Sree Narayana Guru, Ayyankali, EMS,
Yousuf Ali and Shashi Tharoor. (although a great orator #& a global citizen, he seems to be a bit wavering in times of turbulence!).

And there are the smart & the shrewd ones in our midst whose priority is just to guard their possessions amassed for their 7th generation. Or they might have stockpiled their wealth through hook or crook means, or by their political clout, in the pretext of their might acquired on the basis of caste or religion, (cast your vote on caste!) a rare phenomenon which exists only in India, even after our 77 years of independence in this age of AI and incredible geopolitical changes. (the new emerging alliance between the US & Russia; century old arch rivals)

You can also read: HUMAN RIGHTS ARE OUR BIRTH RIGHT.

Today, the new norm is education without values, awareness of human rights without fulfilling one’s duties & impulsive and organised crimes without any remorse. It was not in the remote past, a political leader in his robust middle age was brutally killed by wielding swords 52 times by rented goondas in his robust health who had a different political conviction. All these well-planned political violence glorify violence, and shedding crocodile tears by certain hypocritic leaders now is ludicrous when material prosperity and amassing riches are the new norms. Even the ordinary public have started to think logically.

our political and religious leaders, who are known for their dichotomy between noble words and mean deeds, stand as role models. Oh, what a pity!

The unfortunate part is that the Gen-Zs are neither blessed with any role models or they hardly find any solace in God, an entity which gives us hope, purpose in life and contentment.

What we see today in our self-glorified state of Kerala are heinous crimes by teenagers, even against thir gracious mothers who are ready to tell blatant lies just for the welfare of their children, however violent and guilty they are.

As the attention span seems to be less today, thanks to the all encompassing Instagram and instantaneous communication, why should I add more reasons for this state of affairs in an otherwise peaceful piece of land. When political violence has become a thing of the past, killing one’s own parents has become today’s trend.
