The IELTS consist of four sessions. They are Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. There are two different IELTS modules Academic and General Training. The Speaking and Listening tests are the same in both modules, but the Reading and Writing tests are different. The general test needs to be taken by the people who are moving to English speaking country for PR or jobs. Whereas academic has to be taken by the people who are moving to English speaking country for higher studies or any other course.

'IELTS for UKVI' is a UK government approved Secure English Language Test (SELT). This means that UKVI IELTS can be used to prove your English language abilities in support of a UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) application.
